Megan began her dance education at the age of 2 1/2 under the direction of the late Rosemary Hambly Medeiros, where she studied Gymnastics, Tap, Jazz & Ballet. She danced with Rosemary for 9 years taking all subjects and then continued her training with Rebecca LeFerriere at Physical Attitude, LTD and Kimberly’s School of Dance.
In addition, she attended the Braecrest School of Ballet where she studied under Herci Marsden for 3 years before becoming an apprentice with the State Ballet of RI at the age of 9. She was in several performances with the SBRI Company including Copellia and Phantom Green.
Megan began assistant teaching at the age of 12. After graduating from the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston and the American Society with a certificate to teach dance in 1997 she began teaching her own classes which she continued for 6 years at Physical Attitude.
In 2003, she established the Burrillville Dance Program under the sponsorship of the Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department. She ran the program for 10 successful years.
Megan taught master classes at the Deane Dance Studio in Mendon, MA for Mrs. Georgia Deane and then became a permanent teacher at the studio for 2 years.
She is a certified member of the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston & The American Society as well as the Dance Master’s of America, Chapter 5, & Dance Allience, RI.
Megan attends annual meetings with other dance teachers across New England and takes many master classes throughout the year to keep her dance instruction updated.
Megan has taken part in several dance competitions throughout the years and has received many awards and scholarships for her talents. Megan was part owner of a dance studio in Smithfield for 7 years.
She formed the Inspire Dance Team in 2012 and has choreographed award winning dances in competition.
She hopes to provide a place where people of all ages will come to find and share inspirations in the dance field. She hopes to inspire people and share her love of movement and dance with others in the years to come.
Ms. Kaylee Prete
Kaylee Prete has been dancing for over 20 years.
She is a graduate of CCRI, majoring in early childhood education, with a minor in special education and is currently attending RIC.
She works full time at Dr. Daycare in Foster and has worked there for 5 years.
She was trained at Physical Attitude Dance Studio. In 2006, she was chosen as dancer of the year semi-finalist for Dance America Nationals in Florida. Kaylee previously taught at Physical Attitude for at least 7 years.
She has won many titles in both solo and group dances in competitions. She has completed one year of Dance Teacher Training through the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston. She looks forward to sharing her expertise in the dance field with the students at Dance Inspirations!
Ms. Kelly Berthod
Kelly Berthod started dancing when she was 3 years old. She dances at The Dance Step in Uxbridge, MA for 18 years.
She is well versed in all types of dance, including acro, jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe, contemporary, tap, & hip hop. She started teaching and demonstrating at the age of 13, focusing on acro, ballet, jazz, tap, & lyrical. She began choreography in jazz and acro at the age of 20.
She has been teaching acro at Dance Inspirations for one year. In addition to acro, she will be teaching jazz & lyrical at Dance Inspirations for the 2017/2018 season.
Kelly has many years of experience in competing, participating in solos, duets, trios, small and large groups, & productions.
Her competing even took her to dance in Disney World when she was 13. Dance has always been a part of Kelly’s life, and she is happy to still be dancing and teaching her passion to her students.

ackenzie Harkins
Mackenzie has been dancing with Miss Meg for 14 years. She began at the On Your Toes Dance Studio and then stared dancing at the Burrillville Dance Program. She has been with Dance Inspirations since the grand opening. Mackenzie started assisting around the age of 12. She as been an assistant for 5 years at DI, and will be teaching her own classes for the second time this year. She began teaching Level One & Two Hip Hop & will add Ballet & Tap this year for the busy bees and the ladybug age groups. Mackenzie is working on receiving her certification to teach dance at the dance teacher training program held by The Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston & The American Society. She will graduate this summer in August, 2018. She is excited to be teaching here at Dance Inspirations!
Ms. Cassidy Lange
Cassidy began dancing at the age of 4 at Physical Attitude. She continued to dance under the instruction of Miss Meg at the Burrillville Dance Program and at On Your Toes Dance Studio, where she began assistant teaching at the age of 11.
In 2011 Cassidy started a new dance journey at Marie K. Jennison School of Dance. She spent the next four years continuing to expand her dance education and joining the Excite! Dance Company. Her years in Excite! Lead her to competing all around New England, performances in Boston and New York City, and opportunities to take classes from world renowned choreographers and Broadway stars.
In August 2017, Cassidy graduated from Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston which granted her a certificate to teach. She is currently attend Rhode Island College, aiming for a degree in Secondary Education. She will be teaching Level One ballet, tap, and jazz for the 2018/19 season as well as some summer classes in 2018 at Dance Inspirations. She is excited to share her years of experience with young dancers!
